Flagship workshop
Mining Fundamentals
A full day of crypto mining education at the Garbutt studio for people preparing a first ASIC or cleaning up a rushed install.
Who it is for
Hobbyists who want a careful first bring-up
Mining Fundamentals is designed for adults who already own — or are about to purchase — a single ASIC or a small dual-unit plan. You leave with a written checklist covering power measurement, intake clearance, pool configuration, and a staged start sequence.
Angus Clemes facilitates every date. Guests work at shared benches with demonstration hardware; you may bring your own unit if it is safe to transport and we confirm it in advance.

Enquire about Mining FundamentalsWorkshop questions
Do I need an ASIC on the day?
No. Demonstration units cover the core exercises. Bring your own only after we confirm transport and power requirements.
Can teenagers attend?
Guests must be 18 or older. The session involves live mains-powered demonstration equipment.
Will you wire my shed?
No. We explain what to discuss with a licensed electrician and how to describe load, but Webaspenway does not perform electrical installation work.
