About
Registered name & history
The official registered business name is Webaspenway. The practice was established in 2019 in Garbutt, Queensland, after Angus Clemes spent several years helping neighbours debug overheating garage miners and overloaded power boards.
Early sessions happened in a borrowed shed with two demonstration units and a clamp meter. By 2021 the work had formalised into booked workshops, written checklists, and a clearer boundary between education and licensed electrical work. In 2024 the studio settled at its current Bayswater Road address with dedicated benches, metered PDUs, and quieter acoustics for teaching.
Webaspenway exists to teach crypto mining education as a practical craft: how hardware behaves under Queensland heat, how to measure draw before buying another unit, and how to speak clearly with electricians and landlords.
Honesty about profitability limits, respect for licensed trades, and patience with beginners who ask basic questions about PSUs and intake clearance.
